But to give a realistic view of things, it's hardly a viable income solution. Most pro bloggers make what seems like pocket change in the spectrum of payout. Those who say they are truly pulling in 10's of thousands of dollars are one of 3 people.
- People who are making money by telling you that it is. Selling books or softwares from repackaged knowledge.
- People who already have an established, well-followed site.
- Liars.

A lot of users don't seem to actually grasp the amount of hard work that goes into pro blogging. Each day it gets tougher and tougher. Your commitment must be strong in order to get through, in perspective, a rough environment.
Your desired niche can be flooded. And despite that, new players enter it everyday. Not to mention the corporations who want a piece of the pie.
You have to become resourceful pretty quick to make noise.
You'll need to become abreast of the overall situation: that is your content, and also your software, and oh yeah the marketing. Not to mention monitoring all of that and reacting accordingly. You're running a business!
Make sure that at the very beginning, you're doing this because you have passion for the topic. If not, you will become easily disappointed. If you do have passion, it'll carry you through the mundane and eye-rolling days when you feel like you can't do it anymore.
Set up some goals. BE REALISTIC. Reach out to others. It is the web. A lot of users, are just that...users. They take information wherever it's placed and try to slam it into their own gameplan hoping for super results. I've been blogging for a long time. And it just doesn't work like that. The web as it is today, is focused on sharing and mingling of ideas and thoughts. Ramblings and news. So do that. Share!
As much success that you want to come to you, make sure you are putting the same out. More even.
Perhaps the blog itself is a side hustle and is being used to build reputation or anticipation for your service or product. And used more as a way to connect to the base rather than being the product itself. The amount of work that needs to go into that is no less abundant!
In my opinion, most individuals I've come across who want their blog to grow aren't willing to do what's needed to succeed. Most people are casual about the work they want to put into the blog, but are genuinely hopeful for growth. And that's not just newbies, this also includes those who already have their own blogs.
Truth be told, pro blogging is much better classified as a side hustle. The money that could possibly be earned from pro blogging is side hustle type of money for the majority. However the amount of work you need to put in for that side hustle money is almost like a full time job. Really. Kind of like Amway.

Very true and informative post.
As a blogger who supplies all the content on my blog, it is a constant struggle to add content in a timely manner. Furthermore, I want advertising that reflects my values. Just having random ads on my blog is not something I'm interested in.
I want to build relationships with quality businesses and until that is solid, I will forgo advertising.
My Best
